Similar to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date or Oyster Perpetual Datejust models with the date display feature with the trademark Cyclops lens, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date also showcases the day display, which can be read in a choice of 26 languages. Form meets function with this gentleman's Vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date timepiece, reference 18078 and case number beginning with R that designates a 1988 model. A round 18k yellow gold case with 18k yellow gold fluted bezel surrounds the yellow gold dial that houses the date display with trademark Cyclops lens and day display. A pair of yellow gold and luminescent hands marks the perpetual automatic movement, which is shown through the applied diamond indicators as markers. Finishing this piece is the original Rolex 18k yellow gold Presidential bracelet and 18k yellow gold folding clasp. This circa 1988 watch is in very good vintage condition with minor scuffing on the case and case back and slight stretching of the bracelet.
