Description
Both sharing a deep foundation for intricate mechanisms and perfection in design, it is no surprise that Breitling and Bentley have teamed up to produce an exclusive line of timepieces that convey these principle values. This gentleman's Breitling Flying B timepiece, reference A28362, pays homage to the "winged B" Breitling model that has long been considered the most prominent vehicle within the Bentley fleet. A rectangular stainless steel case surrounds the silver guilloche dial that houses the date display and the jumping hour register. A silver hand marks the automatic Breitling 28B caliber movement, which is shown through the applied silver stick indicators as markers. Finishing this piece is the stainless steel bracelet and stainless steel folding clasp. This watch is in very good condition with minor scuffing on the case, case back and bracelet.
About Breitling
Breitling was founded in the Swiss Jura Mountains in 1884 by Leon Breitling, who specialized in creating chronographs. In 1915, Breitling introduces the first wristwatch chronograph, which would prove to be a great asset for pilots now having portable instruments. Previously controlled by the winding crown, Breitling created the first push button chronograph with start and return to zero functions in 1923. First introduced by Breitling in the 1950s, the Aeromarine SuperOcean was created for military and professional divers to achieve depths of at least 200 meters. Originally created as the official timepiece of the Frecce Tricolori flying team, the Breitling Chronomat has long been considered the leading timepiece within the prestigious field of mechanical chronographs, which is recognized by the uni-directional rider-tab bezel. Breitling is still considered the leading maker of watches for pilots, professional divers and space professionals.
