Description
A dazzling flash of glamour in a modern selection of hues, compliments of Rachelle Epstein. An absolutely dazzling assemblage of gems takes center stage in this dramatic nine row necklace. A cascading waterfall of exotic pearls is alternated in rows of light and dark gray hues. Each shimmering strand of ocean gems is spaced by a refreshing aquamarine rondelle bead. The juxtaposition of contemporary gray pearls and crisp aquamarine gems results in a polished necklace that brings glamour and style to any occasion. This shimmering surge of pearls secures with a sliding 18-karat white gold clasp. Necklace is in excellent condition; pearls exhibit natural inclusions and imperfections, white gold clasp exhibits scuffing/wear.
After receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale, Rachelle Epstein began her career as a painter, showing her work at galleries in New York City and internationally. She was hired to design in-house for Tiffany & Co. in the 1980s. After leaving Tiffany she designed for Asprey and was then invited into Bergdorf Goodman where she had a collection for 10 years. She returned to Tiffany & Co. in 2000 as an in-house design consultant where she developed new collections. She has also designed pieces which were sold at Christie's, Sotheby's and Cartier. She is represented in numerous magazine articles and books, including "Hollywood Jewels" and "Diamonds," both published by Harry Abrams. Her work was also featured in the "Diamonds" exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in 2000.
