Description
Making a statement was never this easy. Turn heads in Rachelle Epstein's enchanting Tassel Necklace. Seven rows of exotic black pearls give off a fabulous range of color, from deep greens and oranges to magenta pink and purple. These enchanting rows are strung with an incredible tassel pendant that brings new meaning to the word glamorous. A pink tourmaline bead sits atop a pale pink domed rose quartz cabochon. Varying shades of pink tourmaline create a perimeter around the base of the rose quartz while thirty one strands of black pearls and white baroque freshwater pearls create shimmer and movement below.
After receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale, Rachelle Epstein began her career as a painter, showing her work at galleries in New York City and internationally. She was hired to design in-house for Tiffany & Co. in the 1980s. After leaving Tiffany she designed for Asprey and was then invited into Bergdorf Goodman where she had a collection for 10 years. She returned to Tiffany & Co. in 2000 as an in-house design consultant where she developed new collections. She has also designed pieces which were sold at Christie's, Sotheby's and Cartier. She is represented in numerous magazine articles and books, including "Hollywood Jewels" and "Diamonds," both published by Harry Abrams. Her work was also featured in the "Diamonds" exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in 2000.
