Estate Signed Rene Magritte Les Valeurs Personnelles Lithograph
PristineLithograph after (d’apres) Magritte, facsimile signed with Magritte Estate watermark, authorized by ADAGP, France. Le valeurs personelles or ‘personal effects’ was painted in 1952 and hangs at Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, Califormia. What one sees on an object is another hidden object. This painting is strangely put together as a riddle or charade through which Magritte wants to reveal a mystery, that of inspiration invading the artist himself, seeking to awaken the spectator’s imagination and unexpected ideas.
