Description

Created in 1917 by Louis Cartier in honor of the allied tank forces of World War I, the Tank model is the most recognizable watch within the Cartier Collection. The smooth lines of the classic design have made the Tank appealing to both men and women and have helped secure it as the best selling Cartier watch to date. This unisex Tank Francaise, reference W51002Q3, showcases the masterful craftsmanship given to the creation of every Cartier piece. A rectangular stainless steel case surrounds the silver guilloche dial that houses the date display. A pair of metallic blue hands marks the automatic movement, which is shown through the painted black Roman numerals as markers. Finishing this piece is the original Cartier stainless steel bracelet and stainless steel double folding clasp. This watch is in fair condition with excessive scuffing on the case, case back and bracelet.
